Anna Ginsky - Owner, ADmin, & cameo driver

Anna was born and raised in San Diego. She moved to Ohio for undergraduate and graduate school. She holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Science from Miami University (of Ohio). After graduating, she moved back to San Diego and worked in Balboa Park as a Sustainability Manager developing and managing sustainability programs in the park. It was in that role she realized San Diego residents could greatly benefit from a trusted medical tourism service for their pets as vet care for her was unaffordable and must have been for others too.

And with that, MexiVet Express was born!

In her free time you can find Anna riding her bike in the new bike lanes around University Heights to Balboa Park to downtown. She likes to read, cook, and travel. She’s probably better than you at playing pool and frisbee. And she loves singing to her children: Coco, Pepe, And Chango.

Matt and Coco!

Matt - operations manager and driver

Matt has lived in San Diego for almost two decades where he does photography, videography, music and of course MexiVet!

He has three dogs: Coco, Pepe, and Chango. And he loves animals of all types, which makes working with MexiVet and the crew an incredibly rewarding experience.

Having benefited for many years from skilled and affordable veterinary care in Tijuana, Matt is grateful for the opportunity to share that experience with other pet owners.

Farah and Falkor

FARAH - office manager

Farah moved with her family to San Diego when she was 12 years old and has stayed ever since. She has been working in offices and Accounting for over 25 years. While she started in the construction industry, she’s enjoyed the transition to managing the MexiVet office and all things: Accounting, HR, and Billing. Before she became an employee, Falkor her Rosarito rescue dog, had too many health issues for her to take care of in San Diego. Farah and her family were driving back and forth to Mexico, and thought, “there has to be someone willing to drive for us!” That is when she found MexiVet Express, it was just Anna and her little car. She felt it was such a blessing to her family to not have to do the border crossing themselves anymore. She’s excited to be a part of an organization that helps others get healthcare for their pets at a reasonable price and to help that organization be successful for a really long time. Farah loves to read, watch sci- fi, ride her e-bike, host her church’s weekly connect group and can’t resist an Iced Vietnamese Coffee.

Rebeca and baby Fang!

Rebeca - Driver

Rebeca moved to San Diego as a child and now spends her time between San Diego and Tijuana. She has 4 rescue dogs. Ice, 9 yr old Pitbull, sweet, loving, playful and adorable. Fang, 7 month old Pitbull, energetic, loving, sweet, and a ball of energy. Nina, 10 yr old Chihuahua Mix, loving, sweet, gentle and cranky at times. Rose, special needs chihuahua terrier mix, spunky, loud, crazy, sweet. She has past experience working with different rescues on each side of the border. You can often find Rebeca exploring coffee shops with her dogs.

Tina and Scampi

TINA - logistics coordinator

Tina moved to San Diego from the East coast, Florida to be exact. She has a little maltipoo named Scampi, who loves cuddles, walkies, and carrot sticks! Tina holds an ADN degree as a registered nurse. Although, her parents wanted her to go into the medical field, she was able to blend her medical background and animal lover in her role here at MexiVet Express. Tina finds joy in the adorable pet pictures that come across her desk and discovering their endearing names. Tina is a foodie at heart and enjoys finding new places to eat. She loves thrifting and finding unique secondhand pieces to call her own.
