I recently noticed a lump on the abdomen of my sweet puggle, Buster. Stressed about the cost of surgery plus tooth extractions that he needed, I researched and contacted MexiVet via e-mail. Throughout the day she called me and texted me updates and pictures. I was so relieved to find out the lump was benign and opted to have it removed. Our 90 lb dog hurt his leg and needed surgery. San Diego vet quoted us $4k. I reached out to a vet in Tijuana (Vet Playas). They were much less expensive but the idea of transporting our pup down felt a bit daunting.
I called MexiVet and they explained the process. They provided transport, help arranging payment AND updates from the vet hospital.

MexiVet is amazing, and made the entire experience seamless! They were fast to respond to questions when I was first trying to find out information, and they were quick to schedule appointments for my dog (deep teeth cleaning and grooming) as well as my cat (haircut/grooming).
Their service was great, MexiVet came and picked them up from our house, and dropped them back off at the end of the day. During that time, they sent me updates, and even a picture of our cat after he was done!

MexiVet is great! My dog needed a tumor removed & we had lost hope after getting some estimates. They told us it would cost anywhere between $3000-$5000. I'm so thankful I found MexiVet. I emailed them and they responded quickly. After I explained everything to her, she found a vet & gave me a rough estimate on how much I would be paying. Less than $1000!! They took care of everything. They made me the next appointment they had available, & then we scheduled a drop off for my baby. They do pick up in LA but I wanted my dog to feel a little more comfortable so we drove to San Diego. After drop off, they kept my updated through everything! My dog ended up having to stay over night after surgery so we scheduled a pick up for the next day. I don't really drive to far & my boyfriend had work the next day so I asked if MexiVet would be willing to drop my dog off in LA & they were so accommodating. MexiVet was so great & friendly. Definitely recommend & we will be using her services in the future.

I would definitely TOTALLY recommend MexiVet Express to all my friends and family. The price is great, the service is above awesome. They love our Marley. Marley is a 9 y.o. Jack russell, with scoliosis issues since birth, they pick her up at our home, takes care across the border to Dr Alexander's office to get her spine treatments, Marley is doing much better, she got her XR's, MRI, lab work for the fraction if the cost it would've been here in San Diego. We have given Anna the key to our house to pick up Marley while we were out of town, and she brought her back from Vet, left her in her bed, made sure she had food and water nearby until we came back. TOTAL TRUST. She is very very professional and has a soft spot for animals. She put her heart into her work.
She is constantly sending us updates while in consultation with the vet, sending us pictures, live videos during consultation, just as we were there, without the need to cross the border. Takes Venmo for our payments, which makes it very convenient. She transports our Marley in very clean and sanitized crates, she goes above and beyond for our Marley. I recommend her to EVERYONE!!

“Amazing customer service, pricing and door to door service”
The other day I noticed my dog constantly biting and licking at his paw. I took a look, but couldn't see anything except for a puncture hole between his pads. First thing that comes to mind, damn foxtail! I had an appointment with his regular vet on Saturday for some shots, so I called to see if they could see him sooner...nope. I called several vets and all were booked. I knew if I brought him to the ER, the bill would be astronomical. I I recently lost my job due to COVID-19 and that was not a bill I wanted to incur. So I came across MexiVet Express. I will be honest, the thought of a stranger taking my dog to Mexico to a vet I don't know was nerve wracking, but he needed to see someone and fast.
I called and spoke to Anna yesterday, she was very informative and offered to take him today. Very fast! MexiVet gave me an estimate on the cost. Since he was due to get some shots on Saturday, I figured he might as well get them there too...totally doable. They came and picked him up in the morning, texted me throughout the day (when they got there, where they were, his status, when they were headed home). They also sent some photos, including the one with the foxtail they pulled out. He was home before 2:30pm. Rocky was already in better spirits with that foxtail out and seemed back to normal again. MexiVet gave me further instructions on his care and let me know if meds were needed later, they could accommodate. What a fraction of the cost than we would pay in the US.

She brought Jack home safely and he came home smelling like flowers, breath fresh, and with a cute bandana on him! MexiVet Express is a life saver! 10/10 for communication and compassion. My Pepper experienced episodes of diarrhea for many days with trace of blood in stool that became alarming. After calling several places, all vets were booked and wouldn't have any availability until mid September. I almost took him to ER, but luckily I found MexiVet via yelp. Pepper was taken care the following day, they picked him up in the morning and constantly updated me his progress. As soon as he was done, they brought him home and provided thorough instructions. The amount I paid was amazing, I saved so much money.
